Logo_Forrest_Gump
Again in typography, the task was to design a word mark / logo for a person out of a movie. In the draw box were Norman Bates, Forrest Gump or Thelma / Louise.
I drew Forrest Gump.
The logo is designed to fit to Forrest‘s life. The upturning curve of the type describes Forrest‘s luck to make everything he touches to gold. Such as showing Elvis how to do his custom dancing move and being part of the Olympic Team. Also the shape reminds one of a shrimp, connecting him to the „Bubba Gump Shrimp Connection“.
RGB: 235/100/100
I named the colour "shrimp-red", so it connects him to his biggest succes business wise.
